Introduction:

The Institut Français will host a nine-day intensive workshop run by Abbas Kiarostami and organised by the London Film School the Iran Heritage Foundation and the Roshan Cultural Heritage Institute, in collaboration with Channel 4 and Hot Property Films. Over this period, the twenty-five participants, recruited through competitive application, will make films on digital video. A screening of their work, introduced by Abbas Kiarostami and Ben Gibson, director of the London Film School, will take place at Ciné Lumière.
