Criteria for Partnership

The committee is interested in assessing applications which are in line with the following criteria:

1. Nature of Programmes:

Proposed projects must seek to promote Iranian arts and culture in an innovative, engaging and accessible manner. The focus of programmes must be clearly directed towards younger generations of Iranians. This means that they should either showcase the work of young Iranians with cultural output, or have as their primary audience a younger generation of Iranians and non-Iranians.

Programmes may be:

  • Educational (workshops, classes, master-classes etc)
  • Cultural (musical performances, film and theatre showings, art exhibitions etc)
  • Social (parties/functions to commemorate special occasions on the Iranian calendar)

2. Project Management

The committee insists on the highest project management standards to ensure programmes are successfully organised and well attended. Project managers need to

  • show commitment, vision and enthusiasm
  • be knowledgeable of the proposed project’s field
  • demonstrate a track record of successful planning and execution of events
  • be willing to work closely with members of the committee who are assigned to actively help with the execution of projects

Applicants may be required to provide the committee with references during the application process.

3. Financial

All applications which seek financial assistance are required to submit a detailed breakdown of their budgetary requirements, clearly outlining projected costs and revenues. It is worth noting that the committee is inclined to provide grants to projects that are expected to recuperate its expenses. All returns will be used to help fund future projects associated with the FGC Partnership Scheme.

Projects who meet the criteria stated above are highly encouraged to submit an application form for the committee to review.
